Welcome to the Ursuline Academy.

As a small school, our strength lies in knowing and valuing every student. From the moment your daughter joins us, she becomes part of a long tradition of Catholic education, where faith is lived out daily, shaping her into a compassionate and confident leader. Fostering a strong sense of belonging is at the heart of everything we do.

At The Ursuline Academy Ilford, we go beyond outstanding results at GCSE and A-level, offering enriching experiences such as trips to Naples, Iceland, and CERN in Switzerland. Our summer production of The Tempest was a resounding success, following participation in the Shakespeare Schools Festival.

Our high expectations for behaviour and conduct ensure a positive and supportive learning environment. Ursuline students are known for their respect, discipline, and responsibility. We believe good behaviour goes hand in hand with academic success and personal growth. Our school uniform reflects our identity and unity; every student wears the Ursuline badge with pride, embodying our values inside and outside the classroom.

Whether celebrating heritage during our annual Culture Day or uniting as a community during the Badge Commissioning evening for Year 7, every student belongs and contributes to the rich tapestry of Ursuline life. Here, every girl is empowered to excel academically, build confidence, resilience, and lead with purpose.

We offer a broad curriculum complemented by rich extracurricular activities, allowing every student to explore and develop her passions. Inspired by our Catholic foundation and our motto, Serviam – 'I will serve,' we instill in every student the values of service, kindness, and community, regardless of her faith background.

Our Sixth Form provides challenging courses and exciting opportunities that prepare students for their next steps, whether university, apprenticeships, or entrepreneurship. Our students become resilient, loving, and faith-filled individuals, focusing on virtues that guide them toward greatness.

Being part of a global Ursuline network strengthens our students’ sense of belonging to something greater, bound by our commitment to academic excellence, faith, and service.
